Picture a grand, week-long equestrian house party at the height of the Scottish summer: utterly dreamy horses, a magnificent country house, your own private chef, glorious countryside and lashings of good fun. THIS ride is the glittering jewel in Scotland’s crown!
Your home for the week is Burgie House – elegant yet welcoming, it crowns a thousand-acre estate of checkered woods and farmland with a rich, horse-filled history. You’ll wake to find the herd grazing in the green fields below, and have the chance to ride out directly from Burgie House across spectacular fields, forests, dunes and beaches. The riding will leave you speechless, no matter your ability or preferred pace, with intuitive horses and warm, experienced guides.
This itinerary showcases the best of summer, when life is in full bloom and good times are never hard to find. You’ll explore a whisky distillery, a Benedictine monastery, a storybook seaside town and a 400-year-old castle; hit the water to discover the region’s renowned marine life; and set the house a-thumping with a traditional ceilidh band.
This is a ride that sits snugly between grandeur and warmth, between history and the here-and-now. Beginner rider or advanced, solo traveller or Globetrotting gang – come as you are, and leave with sand in your boots, whisky on your palate, and a Scottish summer tucked under your skin.
