‘There is no place on earth I would rather be than Tierra del Fuego, on this ride! The Crillo horses, the stunning landscapes, the challenging trails, the amazing food, the interesting people, the music and the laughter – nowhere else compares. I felt more at home here than at home.’

‘The Corrientes Estancia Explorer Ride – what an unforgettable adventure! It was the perfect way to experience the gaucho lifestyle. From riding alongside talented gauchos, rounding up cattle and horses, and watching them at work, to exploring diverse landscapes teeming with wildlife, every moment was magic. With loose horses running free beside us, we shared laughs and stories with amazing hosts who welcomed us into their beautiful estancias, and gained such a deep appreciation for their culture and way of life. Best of all, I connected with wonderful fellow riders and built friendships that will last far beyond this trip.’

‘It was a massive punt, taking my husband and our two kids halfway across the world to fulfil a dream of mine: to ride together and LOVE IT. Safe to say that this punt paid off! We rode amazing horses across breathtaking landscapes, accompanied by wise, wonderful, and wild adventurers. We have made friends that I know we will have for life. We have fallen in love with a country that I know we will return to often. We have come home braver, richer, bolder, and more content than I could ever have imagined—all from the back of a horse!’

‘The Tierra Del Fuego ride is an experience of a lifetime! The gauchos made us feel more like we were a group of friends rather than customers. Every detail of the ride was 5-star—from the luxurious accommodation with constantly lit wood fires and hot water bottles for the camping nights, to the amazing horses that were all so well cared for, extremely well educated, and very responsive, and the food; oh, the food! We had our own private chef who would fit right in at a Michelin-starred restaurant. I also took the option of an evening of fly fishing, which was a wonderful experience on the vast steppe of the island. Every moment was a wow experience, but our final ride to the top of ‘The Valley of the White Horses’ was life-changing stuff!’

‘The estancia was incredible! It had 6,000 acres of land with 120 horses and 500 cattle. The gauchos and volunteers were fantastic and provided great service. The hospitality was amazing and the venue was like a storybook. I felt like a kid in a movie. We had a great time riding horses to the waterfalls where we took a dip. The cattle drive was also an amazing experience. And most of all, the evening rides were thrilling as we galloped like crazy! Mr. Beggs was a wonderful host who treated all his guests and staff with amazing kindness. My travel companions and I are already talking about planning a return trip!’

‘This was my 7th GT ride, which has become my favourite ride (I may have said that before!). I had been dreaming about this ride for years, and it was the one that caught my attention the first time I discovered GT. Surprisingly, it surpassed all of my expectations.  The base camp was situated in a stunning location, and the hospitality was impeccable. We were treated so well that every need was met, even the ones that we didn’t imagine. The food was outstanding, too. If you’re looking for a ride that delivers in every way – culture, breathtaking scenery, incredible horses, wonderful hosts, and a perfect small group size – then this is the ride for you. The best part of the ride was the incredible terrain, which blew me away. Despite having ridden a few of the big mountain ranges, this ride was something else. Each day was an adventure as we explored ways to negotiate the snow pack still there after a cool season. We pushed new trails, and the variety in terrain was stunning. All of the horses were drop-dead gorgeous and did their job well. I never felt compromised in any of the sometimes steep and very narrow trails. They just went up and down with the same reliable steadiness. I appreciate the amazing crew on the ground here and thanks to GT for being the conduit!”

‘The Sierras Chicas ride is heaven on earth. The horses are a delight to ride, and our hosts didn’t skip a beat. Incredible food, a stunning location, gorgeous accommodation, and fun, varied rides made for a truly unforgettable experience. I loved that they catered for all levels of riders. If you’re thinking about taking a less experienced friend globetrotting, this is the place to go. My son was riding like a gaucho after three days, and there were plenty of opportunities to have a good canter or gallop for those who wanted to. The highlight, though, is the Peruvian Pasos, a stunning breed and the smoothest ride of your life. Argentina is an absolute must. I’ve booked my return trip already.’

‘The Patagonia Trail is one of the best trips I’ve had. The mesmerising views that keep getting better, authentic culture and food, wonderful guides and staff who provide terrific hospitality, and the most amazing horses that let you experience it all from their backs. The whole trip was worth travelling halfway around the world for! Crossing the Pass of Tears was one of my favourite experiences, even though I’m not especially fond of heights – plenty of Type II fun. The views from the top while riding along the spine of the mountain, with steep drops on either side, were phenomenal and absolutely worth it. Having 17 Condors flying around us while at one of the lookouts was a pretty special moment, too.’
