Horse riding holidays in Iceland

‘I have been a technical, arena-based (dressage) rider for over 40 years. Long-standing fears about trail riding—especially the idea of riding unfamiliar horses in a foreign country on terrain I didn’t know—have been carried by me. In truth, it was all just fear holding me back. This ride gave me the chance to step outside my comfort zone in the safest and most supportive way. The Icelandic horses were absolutely magical, and the guides ensured I never once doubted that my safety was their top priority. Because of this, I was able to grow so much emotionally on this trip. It was truly transformative, and I will absolutely ride with Globetrotting again.’
