‘This 6-day horseback trip through the Grand Tetons was one of my most memorable experiences. From the start, it felt special—completely off the grid, surrounded by raw beauty, and guided by people who truly know and care for the land. The guides were excellent—experienced, attentive, and knowledgeable about the mountains, wildlife, and history. They struck a perfect balance between giving us space and being there when we needed support. The horses were strong, well-trained, and reliable over challenging terrain. I developed a real connection with mine, riding through dramatic landscapes together—something I’ll never forget. The scenery was beyond words: sweeping alpine views, peaceful forests, crystal-clear rivers, and remote campsites that made you feel a million miles from the world. Camping each night, watching sunsets behind the peaks, and waking to nature’s sounds was grounding in a way that’s hard to describe. This trip gave me a deeper appreciation for the land, the quiet, and the slower rhythm of wilderness life. If you’re looking for a real connection to nature, good people, and time to reflect, I can’t recommend this experience enough.’

‘Riding in the sweet mountain air of the Gros Ventre wilderness, across from the Grand Tetons, was like stepping through the pages of history. Dustin and his family provided superb horses and mules; he even made my dream of riding the Rocky Mountain trails on a mule come true with Johnson. From tracking elk in the pitch black to swimming in ice-cold streams, every moment was unforgettable. It’s a wilderness on a scale you can’t imagine until you’re there, and it leaves you comfortably lost in the moment.’

‘Wonderful first adventure with Globetrotting! This ride was able to cater for all levels of experience, and everyone learned something. Fantastic horses and friendly instructors. I rode Ulysses; Anna listened to my anxieties about my (fairly) recent fall and injury and chose a Mary Poppins horse who also had plenty of get up and go. He looked after me but also needed to be ‘ridden’. I loved riding in all the different types of terrain, and we got to see the Budweiser team up close!’

‘I just got back from the Helena, MT ride and loved every second. I went with a group of riding friends, and the team at the ranch went out of their way to accommodate our goals and desires. My horses were absolutely fantastic, well-trained, with plenty of go for our group. No plodding or nose-to-tail rides here! We learned so much about how to communicate with our horses, riding and on the ground. We had a lot of choice in the activities we decided to do, Everything from driving the Belgian team, to roping a mechanical cow being pulled by a 4-wheeler, to bareback rides and photo sessions. All were worthwhile, and the trail rides were scenic, fast, and fun. Our room was very comfortable, and the food was hearty and filling. My friends and I had a fantastic time, and we planned our next globetrotting trip at dinner on the last night!’

‘I had a fantastic time; the family was great—friendly and accommodating! The horses were well taken care of, and the rides were absolutely beautiful! Everything was timely and fantastic! I rode Odyssey and several others; they were all great, but Odyssey was exceptional. I loved his personality and athleticism! What a fun ride—consistent and capable! The guides were considerate and caring of the horse and rider; they were great! Every day was great there; the weather was fantastic, and the atmosphere and horses were perfect!’

‘I wanted an adventure, and it was certainly that. I’ve always wanted to see those big skies, and the scenery was truly breathtaking. Days of riding in pristine wilderness – no signs of humanity – it was heaven. Incredible horses, taking me places I wouldn’t have thought possible, never missing a step and never giving me a moment for concern. I was very sad to say goodbye to my wonderful horse, Spur, at the end of the trip. And it was an enormous privilege to spend time with our hosts in Wyoming – listening to campfire stories about the land, the wildlife and the people. Their love for the land and their way of life shone through every day. They were warm and caring, and worked so hard to ensure we all had a great trip. It was my first horse riding holiday, and I was travelling solo, but it never felt like it. I was lucky enough to be on a guided trip with Steve and Aimee, who were great at looking after us all. My fellow guests brought a wealth of equestrian experiences from all around the world, and there was a great feeling of comradeship.’
